Spelunkenheimer · Bourbon Barrel Aged Adambier

This particular batch of Spelunkenheimer was brewed in April of 2020. We didn't know what the future held but the sudden COVID-related slowdown allowed us to experiment with a few ideas we wouldn't normally have had time for. After 6 weeks fermenting in stainless, Spelunkenheimer was transferred into Willet bourbon barrels & allowed to mature for 14 months. The resulting beer is velvety with notes of chocolate, caramel, bourbon, smoke, oak and vanilla. 9.6% ABV
